ACUPUNCTURE / Chinese Medicine Treatment
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine treatment includes: Acupuncture, Cupping or Gua Sha (if necessary), and an Chinese herbal consult (if warranted). If Chinese herbs are found to be appropriate, there is an additional cost for the formula used.
Cupping Treatment
This treatment involves either Fire Cupping, or Vacuum Pump Cupping. The treatment itself lasts approximately a half hour and entails cupping over areas of pain and congestion. Cupping is-believe it, or not-extremely relaxing, it may be used in times of high stress and anxiety.
Chinese Herbal Consultation
A Chinese Herbal Consultation involves tongue and pulse reading, followed by a pattern discrimination using the eight principles of Chinese Medicine theory. Herbs will be suggested and prepared at an additional cost. Ongoing consultation is recommended as ones patterns will shift with treatment leading to new layers that will need to be addressed. Herbal Consultation is a half hour in duration.
